Vinyl

This vinyl piece was created to illustrate a love for the best band of all time, don’t at me, Queen. Queen’s Greatest Hits was the first CD I received, so I felt a strong motivation to find a way to put it into vinyl. With the songs I chose, I figured the best way to put them together in a new system would be to create a card game motif.

Challenges 

The main issue I faced with this piece was original ideation. My idea was to illustrate a Killer Queen through text. Some of my peers found the text to look rather poor, however, I was stubborn.​


Outcome

The theme you see here was a four-day design marathon of sorts. After some ideation from peers, I decided to take this route instead. I learned that I cannot fall in love and stay in my first idea.
